In 2019, Facebook fan group They Might Be Shitposting released a cover album of John Henry, featuring at least one, and often two, covers of each song from the album. It is available for free download and streaming on Bandcamp.

Speed Dial

In 2021, Australian musician Shadrow released an album covering several songs from all throughout TMBG's discography, titled Speed Dial in a nod to the Dial-A-Song service. The album is streaming on Amazon Music, iTunes, Spotify, Soundcloud and YouTube. All songs are performed by Shadrow.

Birdhouse - A Celebration of They Might Be Giants

Between 2006 and 2012, Melbourne musicians and comedians Casey Bennetto and Scott Edgar organised a benefit gig during the Melbourne International Comedy Festival to raise funds for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre. Each year a different artist was chosen and a guest line-up comedians and musicians performed covers of that band's songs. In 2007, the band was They Might Be Giants, and the show was titled "Birdhouse".

The show was performed in the New Ballroom at the Victorian Trades Hall on April 21, 2007. The set list for Birdhouse was:

Particle Man (2018 "Weird Al" Yankovic cover)

In 2018, as part of his "Ridiculously Self-Indulgent, Ill-Advised Vanity Tour" tour, "Weird Al" Yankovic covered 77 songs for the encore of the show. On April 21st, at the Paramount Theatre in Austin, Texas, the song covered was Particle Man. A segment of this cover can be heard at 12:47 in a video titled "'Weird Al' Yankovic - 77 Cover Songs" on the official Weird Al YouTube channel.
