Trivia/Info
- When performed live from 1989 to 1990, audiences were asked to create percussion for the song by stomping their feet and chanting "Love!" The earliest documented instance of this was at a 1989 show at the Ecstasy Club in Berlin, Germany, which was recorded by audience member Oliver Behrendt and released by the band through TMBG Unlimited and Dial-A-Song: 20 Years Of They Might Be Giants. Before 1989, the song was known to have been performed impromptu during technical difficulties with instruments and equipment.
- This song dates back to at least 1985, with its earliest known appearance being in the 1985 "TMB Songs" list.
