Dial-A-Song (2018)
Dial-A-Song's 2018 iteration was a project by They Might Be Giants, and the latest round of Dial-A-Song, following up 2015's version.
In late September 2017, the band announced alongside the 2018 Instant Fan Club that Dial-A-Song would be returning for another year. Much like in 2015, each song in 2018 was accompanied by videos on the band's ParticleMen YouTube channel and the toll-free number (844) 387-6962. MP3 and WAV downloads of all of 2018 and 2015's songs were made available on DialASong.com for a $30 USD Dial-A-Song Direct subscription (included free with the 2018 IFC).
Songs from this iteration of Dial-A-Song consisted of tracks from January 2018's I Like Fun album, and songs that would eventually be released on My Murdered Remains and The Escape Team.

In 2017, They Might Be Giants announced that Dial-A-Song would return for 2018 in a similar fashion to the 2015 iteration. Some songs in 2018 had their initial debut on an album—I Like Fun, released on January 19, 2018, though new music videos accompanied these songs as they appeared on Dial-A-Song. The band took a month-long break in August, when no material was released.
Music videos were featured for I Like Fun tracks and most of the new songs, but a few were only accompanied by a static image. Digital downloads for the new songs were made available initially through the Dial-A-Song Direct subscription service at dialasong.com and later for purchase as albums at the TMBG merchandise website. Unlike the 2015 iteration, the new songs and albums (except I Like Fun) were not made available through streaming services such as Spotify or through download services such as iTunes.
