- For the video, character design and direction were done by Joyce Hesselberth & David Plunkert of Spur Design LLC, and the animation was done by Joyce Hesselberth & Brianna Gooch.
- Flansburgh stated that he was "under the influence of a couple of Lulu albums from the 60s" when composing this song.[1] He also acknowledged the influence of Sandie Shaw and Dusty Springfield, two other prominent female singers of the era.[2]
