TMBG-Related Things

Until I learned of TMBG in 2006, IIRC, I never really liked music. Long story short, a friend introduced me to them, I loved them, and they opened me up to all kinds of other bands too. Since I'm a pretty obsessive person in general, I'm extremely obsessed with TMBG and feel the need to collect everything they've ever done (see section below). For some reason I also catch myself jotting down tracklistings for albums for no apparent reason. Probably a symptom of something. I also like trying to make playlists, but since I'm so anal about transitions and overall flow I haven't really finished one yet.

I can't decide on favourite tracks/albums/etc. because what I'm in the mood for changes constantly.

My Ultimate TMBG Goal

As an audiophile, I like to collect every CD and then rip them in FLAC to my external harddrive. Ultimately I hope to someday possess everything that has been released on physical media (including rare promo singles, etc.), load all the FLACs up and listen to it all with a USB amplifier and good headphones constantly while I go about my other Internet business. I also wish everything ever would be released on physical media, but let's be honest; that will never happen.

Random TMI Facts

The name's Nick, aka Akagi. Besides TMBG, I also enjoy the late Bonus Stage (and made a couple wikis about it until they died), Homestar Runner (used to be on the wiki a lot; not so much anymore), video games (mostly just Pokémon and Final Fantasy), the View Askewniverse, Rozen Maiden, Adult Swim, and a bunch of other things.

I don't have my own computer so when I'm able to access the Internet is pretty random and inconsistent. Though I might not make many edits here, I still stalk the recent chages page pretty frequently when I am online.

I am a friend of Anna Ng and Simon Flavelle. Plus probably some other TMBG fans who aren't registered here.
