Jason K. is an Architecture student studying in the cold city Adelaide, Australia. The last time They Might Be Giants visited Australia was in 2001 promoting Mink Car, however at the time, Anklepants was too young to attend, and thus has never seen Them perform.

My Introduction to TMBG[edit]

I was first hit by the Giants in early 2000 when a distant friend accidently left a copy of Then: The Earlier Years in my family stereo. I remember it as if it were only yesterday, when the previous CD had finished and following was a strange song (describing the events of a 1950's movie I had coincidentally watched earlier that week) sprung to life in my amazement, and my mind was musically blown away like never before. I then began to buying each album one by one, in reverse chronological order.

I now consider Flood to be the greatest album in my opinion, as it explores their range of arrangement abilities moreso than any other album. My least favourite album are those released in the last 5 years: No!; The Spine; Here Come The ABCs!.

Misc[edit]

I play the accordion, which I have already aquired five, free of purchase.

I am currently reading Don Quixote De La Mancha, of which is the part-influence of then bands name. I find Don Quixotes antics remonicent of TMBG lyrics. I wonder if Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra was a fan...
