Hey, everyone. Sorry I haven't been editing much recently. I've just adopted the Pink Floyd Wiki. Why don't you check it out? We could sure do with some more users.
See you around,

My TMBG History
After I heard them at my friends house, i got my friend to lend me the CD. I liked all of the tracks, and decided to purchase one of their CDs. After a look on the internet, I decided Dial-A-Song - 20 Years Of They Might Be Giants would be a good one to buy. I arrived a few days later, and I showed it to the friend who introduced them to me, (who actually doesn't really listen to Them anymore). I bought John Henry and Mink Car on the internet, and would have bought The Spine if it was in stock. I found Miscellaneous T in a cheap record store, and downloaded (legally) most of their other albums. I then went on to buy an accordion, which I am trying to learn how to play. Then I got Flood on vinyl at a car boot sale for 20p, which was a bargain, then a week later bought Severe Tire Damage (along with a copy of Pink Floyd's "The Wall") . I wish I known about TMBG before this year, so I could have obtained more albums by now. Ah well.
Not only are TMBG my favourite band, but They also introduced me to a wide range of music. Before I found about Them, all I listened to was Monty Python and Weird Al, basically things that made me laugh. But TMBG made me laugh, and they were serious musicians, and played brilliant music. I asked my friends about more bands, and borrowed some of my Dad's CDs (he has hundreds) and pretty soon I was listening to a whole load of bands, who all of I still listen to. But TMBG are, and will be for a long time, my favourite band. I hope to see them live one day.

Herwwiyal?
Yes, Herwwiyal. What does it mean? How do you pronounce it? Am I Crazy?? Well, yes, I Am, but i will explain my username. When I was in primary school, I used to one of those kids who was absolutely insane, and just blurt out random words thast didn't make sense. Herwwiyal was my favourite one of those of those words, and it works as a username for any website, because I know it would not already be taken. So, to pronounce it, break it up:
HER - as in "look at HER"
WI - as in "WHY!"
YAL - "as in "howdy, YALL"
I added in the extra w somewhere along the way, for no particular reason. So, that explains the myth behind this username. If you found this interesting, thank you. If not, I just wasted a couple minutes of your life.
Monkeys In Disguise
I play drums in a band called Monkeys In Disguise. I suppose we're not really a band, since we've only had three practices, although we have got a gig lined up in October or November sometime. It's basically just me on drums and vocals, my friend Daniel on bass and back-up vocals, and my portuguese friend Eduardo on clarinet, piano and vocals. My favourite song that we play is "Rabid Chimneys" which I made up on the spot, and it lasts about 7 minutes.
Things that make me laugh about TMBG & TMBW
- The End Of The Tour - Linnell could easily rhyme "scene" and "been" in the third line, but he chooses not to. I don't know why I find that funny
- The babel userboxes - Babel is actually to do with languages. I'm assuming the person who started the babel boxes got the name from Wikipedia's babel boxes, which are the language boxes. The other ones they just call Userboxes
- Whenever I have a strong feeling about something, I will usually express it through a userbox.
- More coming soon...
