- Amélie - Singer-songwriter and member of Question of the Century. Posts frequent covers on Instagram, including TMBG songs. (See also User:Sunnyliemelody)
- Beau McClelland - Acoustic anti-folk. Does frequent covers in addition to original material. Has covered "She's An Angel" in a music room on Paltalk. (See also User:Beau99)
- Big Apple Chorus - An 80-man barbershop chorus out of New York City.
- Blink 182 - Specifically, Mark Hoppus, who gave a commentary for Gigantic.
- Bomb the Music Industry! - Disbanded in 2014.

- Icosahedron - Synth-pop stuff from some kid in the UK. See also Moo06
- James K. Folk - James has been covering TMBG songs since 1997. In 2010, James decided to try to market himself a one-person TMBG tribute act.

- Lo-Fi Misery
- Logan Whitehurst and the Junior Science Club - One-man band with TMBG influence; covered "Weep Day". Tragically passed away in 2006.
- Los Doggies - Indie rock band from NY that sounds like a mix of TMBG, Ween, Nirvana, Weezer, Zappa, and Gentle Giant. They also run a website that features interactive music theory lessons and other stuff.
- Luke Hennisch - Inventor of nifty indie pop, alternative rock, synth pop and folk rock tunes; has covered “Mr. Me”, “Wicked Little Critta”, and “I Am A Ring”, among many others. See also: Lukehennisch

- Paper Towels - Electronic pop/alt-rock project from Chicago. The mastermind behind the project, Brendyn Wirtz, is known to be a huge TMBG fan, covering their songs live on many occasions.
- Pat and Brendan - Does several TMBG covers; there's a cover of TMBG's cover of "Istanbul" on YouTube
- Paul and Storm - Comedic folk duo. Covered Flood in its entirety in Chicago in 2009.
- Rabid
- Rubix Cuba - Ska band from Newcastle, NSW, Australia. Has done covers, and frontman Stu Cuba claims TMBG to be "geniouses".
- Sawtooth - Has finished a demo album featuring a cover of "Pet Name".
- School for the Dead - Featuring members of The Gay Potatoes, side project of Chris Collingwood from Fountains of Wayne
- Sewage Lagoon - User:Robot Parade's band, mostly grunge and alternative rock vibes.
- Ski School - Electro/space/dance/funk/wizard rock from Montana
- Smash Tacklers - Rock/rap/experimental/whatever the heck else duo from State College, PA. UhaugMan is a founding member. They did a cover of "Particle Man" and have played "Dirt Bike" live.
- TIZONINE - Musical demo project of user Mrsomebodyelse, whose "Demo Of The Week" is inspired by TMBG's Dial-A-Song Direct 2015 project.
