Here Comes Science is nominated for a 2010 Grammy for Best Musical Album for Children, but the band loses to Pete Seeger's Tomorrow's Children.
Join Us, TMBG's fifteenth full-length album, is released on July 19. Prior to the release, four advance tracks are made available on iTunes and theymightbegiants.com on April 26.
They Might Be Giants and Idlewild Recordings announce the They Might Be Giants Instant Fan Club: a paid subscription service for 2011 similar to TMBG Unlimited in 2001, including exclusive MP3 or FLAC downloads, a copy of TMBG's Other Thing Brass Band (EP) (both digital and vinyl), a pair of TMBG concert tickets, and several other merch items and digital goods.
In October, the band releases two songs written for the video game Adventure Quest Worlds: The Collector.
October 28 sees the release of Album Raises New And Troubling Questions, a rarities compilation.
