- Here Comes Science continues its run on the Billboard Kids Albums Chart. Between 2009, 2010, and two weeks in 2011, it spends 54 weeks on the chart, far and away TMBG's longest run for an album on a major chart.
- TMBG creates the song And Mom And Kid for the Rosie O'Donnell documentary "A Family Is a Family Is a Family."
- TMBG contributes a new song, You Are Old, Father William, to the Almost Alice compilation.
- Here Come the ABCs and Here Come the 123s are both released in Japan exclusively on DVD on March 17th, but they do not do well commercially.
- The band plays the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival on June 13th.
- After appearing in an advert for Clarks Shoes, Birdhouse In Your Soul returns to the UK Singles Chart for three weeks, after a 20-year hiatus.
- TMBG contributes a new song, My Name Is Kingof Socks, to the charitable Haitian relief CD Many Hands: Family Music For Haiti.
- Here Comes Science is nominated for a 2010 Grammy for Best Musical Album for Children.[1]
- During the year, TMBG does not release a studio or live album, EP, single, sampler, or collection for the first time since they released the Wiggle Diskette in 1985.
