My Murdered Remains is the 21st album by They Might Be Giants. It consists of new songs first released on Dial-A-Song in 2018. CD/digital versions include a 16-track bonus disc, More Murdered Remains, with songs from both the 2015 and 2018 iterations of Dial-A-Song.

Background[edit]
In September 2017, details for the 2018 Instant Fan Club offering were posted and mentioned among other items, the inclusion of two Dial-A-Song albums: "A Disc of Dial-A-Song 2015 Rarities" and "A Disc of All Dial-A-Song 2018 Songs". As 2018 progressed and much of the year's Dial-A-Song material ended up consisting of songs from two other 2018 album releases — I Like Fun and The Escape Team — the band decided to consolidate the planned 2015 and 2018 Dial-A-Song discs into this album and its bonus disc (included with first editions of the album).
The album's title is from a lyric in "Mrs. Bluebeard" — "I want to say I learned something valuable today / Alas my murdered remains are incapable of learning anything" — and was originally the working title for the album I Like Fun, where that song appeared.
Like The Escape Team, My Murdered Remains is available on CD, vinyl and download on Idlewild Recordings directly from They Might Be Giants via their merch store, but is not available on streaming services such as Spotify. Though the CD edition includes More Murdered Remains as a bonus second disc, the vinyl edition only includes those songs via download code.
In January 2019, the band announced the release of Some Murdered Remains, a sampler featuring six tracks culled from the main album. It was made available on TMBG's Free Downloads page.
In summer 2022, a vinyl repressing of the album was sold with side 2 of The Escape Team mispressed instead of side 2 of My Murdered Remains. The edition was sold briefly on the TMBG Shop and removed after the issue was reported. Replacement copies were sent out in February 2023.
