- In February, They Might Be Giants released the 2001 album Mink Car on vinyl for the first time.
- TMBG resumed their Flood tour in June that had been postponed multiple times since 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After the first show, John Flansburgh's car service was in a collision, causing him to fracture seven ribs. The tour resumed at the end of August after Flansburgh had sufficiently healed.
- A slew of vinyl reissues continued throughout the year, including the first Idlewild Recordings pressings of Apollo 18 on vinyl, accompanied by a new T-shirt for the album.
