The Spine Surfs Alone is an upcoming 2LP rarities compilation album by They Might Be Giants.
The album was first mentioned by John Flansburgh on Tumblr in December 2022[1], with more details provided in a November 2023 interview for the They Might Be Playing They Might Be Giants radio marathon[2]. It will be a compilation of around 20 tracks, mostly consisting of B-sides released from 1998 to 2005. The album will be released on vinyl, and will potentially consist entirely of tracks that had not previously been on the format.
