The show was hot and cold. Some songs were amazing and some seemed like the band would rather be elsewhere.
I am incredibly proud of the awkward silence that accompanied the introduction and explanation of "Asbury Park." That's what you get for skipping over the Classic City for twelve years and then reminding us of at least one place you played while you weren't playing here.
The inclusion of that song as the sample track on the download page is baffling.
Oh, well. TMBG picked up steam at the end. The last song as a duo was fantastic and I hope that they come see us again soon and leave the references to other venues at the door!
