- This is one of the three songs made by They Might Be Giants for the winners of the CD101 contest in Columbus, Ohio. Kendra McCormick and Demarais Parker were the other two winners of the contest.
- The variations on the line "My lifestyle determines my deathstyle" come from the Metallica song "Frantic". The line is immortalized in the documentary Some Kind of Monster.
