- This song was written and demoed "long in the beginning" of The Else's album cycle[1], but was "never really finished" according to John Flansburgh, who stated: "The lyrics were only half cooked and we never got it to another level. I like the tune—but the words were a riddle."
- This song remains "robot-exclusive"[2], as it was only performed live as part of LEMUR's "Robosonic Ecletic"[3] series at the 3LD Arts & Technology Center in 2007, where the band performed alongside various robot instrumentalists created by the art group. "Vestibule" and the original version of "With The Dark" were also performed at these shows.
