Reconstruction[edit]

I once made a reconstructed version of the song using that video. The song came out to be 2:40. One reason why I like this song is because like "No Answer", it has potential to be released on an official album, whereas most unreleased TMBG songs are alternate versions of already-released TMBG songs or not even songs that the Johns wrote themselves like covers. - invisiblehippo97

Update: Simple editing of an MP3 and applying plunderphonics will not satisfy my desire to make a complete version. I am forced to go a step further and recreate and modify it, like a cover. invisiblehippo97 05:52, 19 June 2015 (CST)
So I made this instrumental version. (I messed around with the melody a little bit; I'm still not so sure that it's accurate.) You should be able to see it. Feel free to leave me suggestions. https://www.noteflight.com/scores/view/3b2d1928bdabd1a170394292c6aa526646c38b99 I'll record vocals tomorrow. I even wrote a new verse, since for all we know, there is a long-lost verse to this song.
No, all the verses are in the video. Only the last five or six seconds got cut. What's on the lyrics page represents the entire song performed. -TDK (talk) 07:58, 20 June 2015 (EDT)
Wow. I'll take back what I said - not No Answer, not Tumbleweed, no, they should definitely revisit this song for DAS 2015. Great song. Good cover, too, just the riff melody seems off to me. --Freakiosis (talk) 10:54, 20 June 2015 (EDT)
I said that even though I messed around with the melody a little bit, I'm still not so sure that it's note-for-note accurate, and that you can feel free to leave me suggestions about it. Well, it's a short song, so I made it a minute longer. The new verse is about this story I heard where the Johns were only allowed to play one more song, so they played this greatest hits medley for an encore, and then the security guards caught on as to what they were doing. May have even inspired this song. I'll try to look up what concert this was. invisiblehippo97 10:57, 20 June 2015 (CST)

Someone covered this song???[edit]

A band called The Bags covered this mid-october 2021. It's on spotify--BestRegrets (talk) 14:49, 17 February 2022 (EST)

Wow, that was actually pretty good. (Here is the link, see how long it lasts in this ever-changing digital age.) My question is, how on Earth did you find this? They have 2 followers and 1 monthly listener, as of this moment. This is such an obscure song, even in the vast TMBG canon, how would anyone even think to search for this?! --MisterMe (talk) 15:07, 17 February 2022 (EST)
I was remembering back to seeing a song somewhere called "Our Cannibal Friends" and I thought it was a Tally Hall song (they wrote a song called "Cannibal") and I looked it up on Spotify. Found it, didn't know what it was, but the band was called the Bags, and I was like, "Wasn't one of the Johns in a band called The Baggs?" So I went back to the TMBW to find the song, and here we are now!--BestRegrets (talk) 19:55, 17 February 2022 (EST)
