Trivia/Info

  • The main difference between this mix and the Pink Album version is that this mix uses entirely different samples for the drums and bass. Additionally, in the "I don't want to live in this world anymore" section, this version adds a bass synth that plays underneath Linnell's vocal. Overall, the instrumentation in this mix is a little more spaced out, and the mix contains more reverb.
  • The video for "Don't Let's Start" was featured on MTV/TV Guide's "100 Greatest Music Videos Ever Made" in December 1999, landing at #89.
  • A clip of the video about three seconds long was used by VH1 in the show Cheestastic Video Tricks. It was generally about tricks used to make videos seem more dramatic and the "Don't Let's Start" video was featured in a section about "the fist pound," showing the moment where Linnell is lying on his stomach pounding the floor.
