Trivia/Info

  • From TMBG Unlimited: "We've got one eye. Dig? This song is our tribute to fallen heroes Richard Nixon and Chucky. Check out the Dans kicking the solo. This is a preview of our next album, but available now for your MP3 pleasure."
  • This version is a little more sparse than the re-recording for Mink Car. It features more timid guitar work, only one bell at the beginning and is also lacking the "Pony, Twist, Monkey, and Frug" part of the coda (which would later be sung by Cerys Matthews). Also, the opening line of the first verse is "I'm sick...like Nixon was sick." "Nixon" was changed to "Chucky" for the Mink Car version, but the other two references are "Chucky" across versions.
