- A cover of "Butcher's Tale (Western Front 1914)" by The Zombies, from their 1968 album Odessey and Oracle.
- This song was recorded live on July 23, 1999, as part of a Loser's Lounge "Best Of" show. John Flansburgh and John Linnell performed the song while walking through the audience. Linnell played the accordion while Flansburgh, without a microphone, shouted the song. He carried a large tape recorder with the lyrics taped to it,[1] although the words he sang differed significantly from the song's original lyrics.
