Trivia/Info
- This song was first recorded in 2005 when John Linnell was challenged by the radio show The Next Big Thing to create a song using the almost-forgotten words contrecoup, craniosophic, and limerent. The Else's version contains a new bridge written for the song's inclusion on the album and a couple other changes.
- The song starts out with a tempo around 115 BPM and ends at around 152 BPM. (Check yourself at http://convertalot.com/bpm.html). Compare with "Damn Good Times," "Gazing Out Toward" and "Mrs. Train," other varying tempo songs.
- Phrenology is the 19th-century pseudoscientific belief that one's personality could be determined by the study of the location of bumps in the skull.
