And again (it's gone down to $7.99)! Except cheaper. Is it not selling well or something? It just would seem strange to lower a price so dramatically for a pre-order of a combination CD/DVD. people should download from tmbg.com![edit]
hey so i have an opinion! tmbg doesn't make as much money from the amazon and itunes purchases, and also the note about downloading from amazon and itunes is less aesthetically appealing (especially if we want to clarify that the videos don't come with those, which i think is a good idea) than just having the link to tmbg.com. shouldn't we support the band directly and just advertise the tmbg.com download? i'm sure no one will mind losing the $1 they'd have saved on amazon—or the $1 they'd have saved for lossless files through itunes (especially if it means free videos). plus, the links will still be there on the page for the compilation itself. and things. -Apollo (colloquia!) 23:49, 1 November 2011 (EDT)
- I'm an advocate of more information and more choices; this is a wiki and not an apparatus of band promotion. Those who won't mind losing the $1 are the ones who see the tmbg.com option and choose it consciously. When I saw the banner though I thought it would be bettter to engage in (the maybe-propaganda of) explicitly saying the other downloads don't come with the official set of videos. ~ magbatz 02:16, 2 November 2011 (EDT)

Now that DASD is out of the way...[edit]
..the main page looks kinda naked. I get that DASD has been over for a good while, and we're no closer to any details for Phone Power, but I think we need something. The only thing I can think of is Glean and/or Why?, but both of those have been out for a good while and having a header for them only NOW seems like poor timing. Another idea is talking about DASD in a more complete way, like showing the covers and purchasing details for all three albums and the upcoming box set (that's still happening, right?) with the rotating logo next to them all. And until we get details on Phone Power and the box set, just have Glean and Why? with the spinning logo. I'm just spitballing here. Maybe I just need to suck it up and get used to the change.
