Review by Brian Smith:
It was an amazing show. We tried to listen to the soundcheck, but Flans
kicked us out. They opened in darkness, and the band (minus the Johns)
opened with an instrumental. Then they EXPLODED into "James K. Polk". the
band were in an excellent mood and the crowd was HOT!!! Flans said "Hello,
its fucking great to be back here" in a fake english accent. The crowd
really got into the old songs. They did a fake newsbreak, Linnell sung part
of a Dolly Parton song "here we go again" , and for "counterfeit faker"
they used tall hand puppets to sing the song. a new song, "cyclops rock"
ROCKED and has the following lyrics"
i am sick like nixon was sick
i won't die like chucky won't die
an incredible show. so much fun!!!
