My name is Shannon Smedley. I was born in a tiny Eastern Oklahoma town, where I still live today. I'm a Poteau High School alumna, Class of 2008 and am currently attending Carl Albert State College. I've decided to pursue a major in film, because I've always enjoyed movies and the process of making them. Most people would describe me as being extremely shy, artistic, and easily distracted. I also tend to be obsessive about stuff. I've been a huge They Might Be Giants fan ever since I saw their Doctor Worm video on Nickelodeon several years ago. I love all of their music and can't imagine life without it! In addition to TMBG, my interests include film, drawing, Doctor Who, Star Trek, arcade games, coffee, animation, arachnids, leisure cycling, renaissance faires, 1990's nostalgia, pet care, thrift store shopping, classic movies, mental disorders, and The Kids In The Hall.
