Can we make it an unofficial rule that no one can change the tagline RIGHT AFTER IT WAS CREATED? Because it isn't (or "it's not") (or "it'sn't") so fair for a homemade tagline to only be on the main page for, like, 20 minutes. Or whatever. -- Buzzmusic100 ("Keep your voice down...")
- If people like the tagline, they won't change it. If it gets changed immediately, it's probably because a) It's not a very good tagline or b) Some not-a-good-fan fan didn't get it. Plus, it's just a tagline. They're archived forever! -Apollo. 02:04, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

Links in Taglines
What's wrong with it? Put it in the rules if there's a valid reason.
- What's wrong with taking the links out if you want to? -Apollo (Phoebus!) 04:13, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
- What's so bad about links in the first place? -- Buzzmusic100 ("Keep your voice down...")
- ...ok, um, for the record, this is really unimportant and does not deserve to be argued about, so I'm gonna get that out of the way first. But I think the main issue with links in taglines is that if there's a link it takes away the fun of guessing what it is (I know that you don't have to actually click the link, but I mean, really). Also it's not exactly pleasing to look at, plus wiki-tradition, and, you know, stuff. Besides, what's so great about having a link in the tagline? (rhetorical.) People just tend to have different opinions about various things, no one has to necessarily stop putting links in taglines or taking them out. -Apollo (Phoebus!) 16:50, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
- What's so bad about links in the first place? -- Buzzmusic100 ("Keep your voice down...")
- I agree with you on why taglines with links are undesirable, but "why not make a tagline with a link" will always trump "why not edit someone else's tagline". Put it in the rules if there's a valid reason. ~ magbatz 16:56, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
