About Me
Name: Kelly
Nickname: Blue Canary (everywhere except Twitter where I am TMBGgirl)
Occupation: Professional fangirl
Hobbies: Concert junkie, amateur photographer, part-time blogger, full-time geek
Motto: "Rock, rinse, repeat."
You can read the full story of my descent into TMBG fandom on my blog if you are interested: My TMBG Story. I credit The Mesopotamians and Nine Bowls Of Soup with turning the tides for me.
There is absolutely no where I would rather be than a TMBG show. They say home is where the heart is and if that's true my home lies somewhere between Marty's drum kit and Dan's mic stand at the front of the stage. If the band is playing east of the Mississippi and north of the Mason/Dixon line (and often further), I am usually there. You may have seen me. I'm that girl with the pigtails. Say hi! I'm friendly, I promise :-)
I celebrated my 100th TMBG show in Raleigh, NC on February 15, 2012!
I have four TMBG tattoos. I will inevitably end up with more.

Bootlegs
I have a rapidly growing collection of TMBG bootlegs and will gladly trade. Use my talk page or send me an email if you want to set something up. My Live Show List.
Concert Photography
I also have over 4000 live concert photos of the band in my Flickr galleries. Photographing the band is one of my favorite hobbies and I've been really lucky with some of my shots. I think this is my favorite.

My Blog
I have a blog called My Name Is Blue Canary. There you will find detailed recaps of all the shows I have attended as well as a Song of the Day post, with a randomly selected TMBG song every day. I also occasionally do Audience Participation posts where I pick a band related topic to make Top 5 or 10 lists about and then invite readers to share their own. And when I am really motivated or get submissions, I play a game on Wednesdays called There's a Picture Opposite Me, where I post a picture that represents a TMBG lyric and the readers try to guess what the lyric is. New readers and participants are always welcome. The whole purpose of the blog is to meet new friends and talk about our favorite band. Come play!
