  • This song was originally performed by The Monkees and appeared on their 1967 album Headquarters.
  • At TMBG shows in 2009-10, this was usually performed after "Fibber Island".
  • The line "Nevermind the furthermore, the plea is self defense" was also used in the 2004 song "Memo To Human Resources."
  • To celebrate Micky Dolenz's 80th birthday, a video of TMBG performing a parody of Zilch was posted to John Linnell's Bluesky.[1]
