- John Flansburgh mixed both From Beyond The Grave and Paper Hat, and played guitar on Paper Hat. He also did some recording.
- TMBG collaborator Jay Sherman-Godfrey plays cello on "Get Away, Get Away". The song also includes guitar and backup vocals by Bruce Bennett of The A-Bones, who opened for TMBG on October 20, 1992.
