A Couple O' Questions[edit]
I have a couple o' quesitons:
The horns played on Mr. Tambourine Man, did they? Does anyone have a recording of this? Sounds interesting
Is there any info out there on who comprises the horn section on this tour? --Oddjob 23:08, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
- I was not at the show(s), but by the fact that they played Mr. Tambourine Man at the amazing August 1st show, I'm guessing that they did. I think there's a video on YouTube for that show with the horns?
Also, according to kayakcup's livejournal entry for the 9/29 show, it looks like it's Dan Levine reprising his role from the last tour as trombone, and newcomers Bill Dowling and Jim Honeyman on trumpet and tenor sax, respectively. --WhatIsThatThing 23:51, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks. Actually, I was at the Aug. 1 show too- they went into Tambourine Man from Spy, but I didn't think the Horns actually PLAYED on it... I'll have to give my recording another listen! --Oddjob 00:16, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
- If you look at my video of Doctor Worm, which came right after Tambourine Man, the horns weren't onstage. They were never onstage during the encores. They left after Istanbul and never came back. Perspixx 08:00, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
