I was there today. They played a few songs from the DVD including "Fake Believe" and one called "Alphabet of Nations".

Alphabet of Nations has been added to the song list, but anyone who recalls even lyrical smidgens (and who sang), add 'em in. --Mongoose

If this album is related to the alphabet, perhaps Bloodmobile will be on it. After all, the ID3 Album tag on the free MP3 is "ABC." Hmm...

Absolutely nothing. I just noticed "ABC" as the ID3 tag, and ABC (the television network) doesn't seem to have anything to do with the exhibit it was originally written for.

9/3: I just got an email newsletter (and many of you probably did too) that said that the kids' DVD is going to be called "Here Come The ABCs." I'm guessing this is correct? If it is, maybe someone could change the title of the Kid's DVD page to that, because I don't know how. --My Evil Twin's Twin

I'm guessing so; I just made a page for it. I basically just copied this page and replaced "Kid's DVD" with "Here Come The ABCs". I guess we could just copy this discussion page into there, and just leave this page behind. And here it is! -magbatz

It turns out that the album title ends in an exclamation point so I created a new page and moved everything here. It works out well, since there's a title track minus the exclamation I just turned the old page into the new song page. I also completed the track list based on a promo CD. I had one of the titles wrong; 'X' is actually called 'I C U'.-TDK

For starters, I was wrong.. the album name doesn't end in an exclamation point. We need three seperate pages for Here Come The ABCs. The CD, the DVD and the song. The tracklist for the DVD can be copied from Amazon.

Could someone please give details on on th Amazon bonus tracks? I would preffer to buy the CD and DVD directly from the band, but I want to know what I would be missing first. Registered just to ask this: can anyone tell me how to distinguish between the DVD releases - in particular, the one that contains the live-action video for "I C U" vs. the one that contains the animated one? - microwiz 22:55, 27 Mar 2008 (PDT)

I don't own them both so I can't guarantee that this is right, but according what someone said on ICU's discussion page, it seems that the Amazon.com CD/DVD bundle is the one that includes the live-action video. I would assume that means the alternate release of the DVD (meaning the DVD on its own) would have on it the other video. According to this very article, "After the initial success of the separate DVD and CD releases of ABCs, Disney released a new DVD/CD combo version of the set through Amazon on October 25, 2005, containing additional videos on the DVD (a different video for "I C U", and exclusive in-studio performances of "Robot Parade" and "Sleepwalkers"), and both exclusive CD bonus tracks in one place ("I Never Go To Work" and "Hovering Sombrero '05")." Help with screenshots

Can someone either help with uploading screenshots from some of the videos, for the songs that don't have them yet? Either that, or if you can tell me how to take a screenshot from my computer, that would be great. I've tried taking a screenshot of the dvd on my computer, but apparently windows must have some copyright management stuff in there that won't let you take a screenshot of a dvd...Is there a way to get around that? --Duke33 16:59, 23 Feb 2005 (EST)

You're problem is probably that you've got hardware acceleration set above zero (which is where you want it when you're not taking DVD screenshots). To change it right click the desktop and select Properties to bring up the Display Properties. In the Settings tab, click Advanced, and turn the slider on the Troubleshoot tab all the way down. That should let you use the print screens key and paste that grab into an image editor. Don't forget to set the slider back up when you're done. — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 14:29, 26 Feb 2006 (CST)

DVD regions

I would be grateful if information about DVDs also includes region. The industry has decided that you can only use DVDs meant for your country or region so that they can charge more in countries where people have more money while still being able to make a profit in poor countries. for now i think it's pretty safe to assume that the DVD produced in your region will play in your region, however, regions should probably be included in release details for DVDs. i can't really do anything about it since i don't even own the US copy of the album, though... -Apollo (colloquia!) 13:59, 2 August 2012 (EDT)

Is this thing even real? I have been able to find a grand total of 0 CDs with this cat no. online, all of them (excluding BB, Amazon, and combo versions) have a cat no.of 5008 61204-7

Deletion for Puppet Johns pages

I feel like we should delete the Puppet Johns dialogue pages (Introducing The Vowel Family, Introducing C Is For Conifers, etc.) They're not really interesting, and are practically useless. No references?

I love the background info about the creation of this album and its DVD videos, but there's no references here at all in this entire page, neither are there many references for the background info of No!. Ah yes, I've heard about that doc. Some of the info used for that does come from some Tumblr asks which were integrated into this page's background section, so I can probably go back and manually add those references into this page. Just curious about No! though, is that part of the docmentary as well? There's some info in its history about album rescheduling as well as the sessions but there's no sources cited for that either. Some of them I do think come from alt.music.tmbg though. A few other album pages I've seen don't have sources either, but I'm guessing it's because the information relates more to the albums than what happened surrounding them. - Mrsomebodyelse (talk) 18:51, 27 May 2024 (EDT)

To my understanding the scope of their research has outgrown the ABCs and extended to the other kid's albums (and beyond), and it does look like Tanline666 added the information you're describing to the No! page.
