Talk:Doris Cunningham (Extended)

From This Might Be A Wiki

i propose moving this to [[Doris Cunningham]] and moving the other to [[Doris Cunningham (Edit)]] —ant 23:44, 22 September 2024 (EDT)

I wouldn't mind. Would the same also apply for The Edison Museum (Edisongs Version), Lullabye To Nightmares (Extended) and Got Getting Up So Down (Extended)? Lullabye To Nightmares mostly since it chops off some of the intro and removes the coda. − Mrsomebodyelse (talk) 00:28, 23 September 2024 (EDT)
it's a good question. i think it's a lot less clear when the shorter cut is a track on a studio album. w/r/t getting up, that was actually released by the band as (extended) which i think is a decent argument for keeping the qualifier. —ant 02:25, 23 September 2024 (EDT)
Keep in mind the shorter Doris got its definitive title from Then. I'm inclined to prefer keeping disambiguated titles as close as possible to TMBG tracklist titles, just to make the most known/notable version of a track the easiest to locate here. -CapitalQtalk ♪ 08:52, 23 September 2024 (EDT)
Haha, This is exactly how I have it in my iTunes library. TitanicFog (talk) 12:09, 23 September 2024 (EDT)
Oh, I would like add that Got Getting Up So Down (Extended) was listed as Got Getting Up So Down for every release (except maybe Free Tunes?) TitanicFog (talk) 14:07, 23 September 2024 (EDT)
