Fan Recaps And Comments:
- This was my first TMBG show and it gave me a lasting impression. Some of the highlights of the show were I Never Go To Work when they changed "practice trumpet" to "practice guitar", and the intro to I Am Not Your Broom when the broom said he had to go see Iron Man and Sex and The City. Encore was special because of the 813 Mile Car Trip. Also, standing around before the show, some lady was going around asking people what they thought about TMBG, She skipped us straight. For a first show, it was GREAT! I'm still trying to recover from how great it was. It doesn't get any better than that for FREE!
Kenr:
- This was the third show (second family show) we've seen in less than a year, and it really was terrific. The auditorium at ImaginOn was a SUPER venue. We sat in the second row - right behind Helen, the child who was having her seventh birthday - and we were close enough to touch John's guitar. Marty was in fine hyperactive form running around stage during "Alphabet Lost and Found," one of the highlights of the show for me. By the way - the interviewer circulating before the doors opened was a reporter for WFAE - 90.7, the local NPR affiliate.
- I should also note that one of the great things about this show is that it was fully funded by the sponsors, so admission was FREE. It just doesn't get any better than that! My kids wore their "No!" shirts, and we had just a super awesome time.
