Fan Recaps and Comments:
Review by Andy Hall:
This was my first TMBG show, and I was not a big fan, until now
So forgive me for not including a set list. They took the stage around 9:20 and played with encores until
11p.m. some of their fans wanted to hear the older material, which they
provided, like Birdhouse of your soul, letterbox, The Lion takes control, Ana Ng,
but what really came through live was their sense of humor. Flansburgh sang in a mock operatic style, an apology
to Linnell, for "F-king up the show." For one of their encores, they used puppets on long poles.
They repeated their jingle for their website four or five times. With their wit, and original style
these guys are the Penn and Teller of Rock.
