Count Drinkalot
Similar to the famed Sapphire Bullets, Count Drinkalot and his son Rolf are aliases that They Might Be Giants took on when opening for themselves in the late-1980s. Mostly an act of the band's early years, Count Drinkalot and Rolf occasionally appeared before TMBG in concert, urging the audience to drink — a lot, while wearing cheap vampire masks. Coming to a concert featuring Count Drinkalot and Rolf would guarantee an acoustic set, with Flansburgh as "Rolf" rocking the acoustic guitar and Linnell as "Count Drinkalot" on the accordion. The titular "Rolf" is most likely Rolf Conant, an alias Flansburgh has used numerous times over the years, dating back to 1985.
