TMBG played two shows at the TLA on New Year's Eve. An early show, and then a later show, where you actually rang in the New Year with TMBG. There were two different setlists. Flansburgh accidentally slammed then-bassist Tony Maimone in the cheek with his guitar, leaving a large scar.
