The Johns don't seem to play very many video games
I certainly hope it's not about the popularity of the game "Fortnite". Maybe Linnell caught his son playing it and wrote lyrics (Note: I'm typing this before the audio is released, I have no idea who actually wrote this song). AnaNgInASpaceSuit (talk) 11:27, 20 March 2021 (EDT)
- I can't believe that we have interpretations online for lyrics of a song that has not been released; neither can I believe that the interpretation is about Fortnite. The only useful thing to contribute is I once had the pleasure of talking to Robin about what Fortnite is. John Flansburgh used the word "incel" on a podcast last month, there is a 100% chance he too knows about Fortnite -j2
- I would really like to hear the podcast where Flansy said "incel" because I'm very curious -Mr. Klaw

Which is to say how it goes, couched in terms no one knows
The first verse kinda reminds me of "Contrecoup", what with the lyrics about using unnecessarily fancy words. EmanresU (talk) 02:21, 21 May 2023 (EDT)
