The Johns don't seem to play very many video games[edit]
I certainly hope it's not about the popularity of the game "Fortnite". Maybe Linnell caught his son playing it and wrote lyrics (Note: I'm typing this before the audio is released, I have no idea who actually wrote this song). AnaNgInASpaceSuit (talk) 11:27, 20 March 2021 (EDT)
- I can't believe that we have interpretations online for lyrics of a song that has not been released; neither can I believe that the interpretation is about Fortnite. - I would really like to hear the podcast where Flansy said "incel" because I'm very curious -Mr. Klaw
"I am not a gamer" - John Flansburgh, September 16, 2021[1]

"Where did you come from, anyway, a book?" No, actually, a pamphlet. --MisterMe (talk) 10:26, 27 January 2022 (EST)
Which is to say how it goes, couched in terms no one knows[edit]
The first verse kinda reminds me of "Contrecoup", what with the lyrics about using unnecessarily fancy words. EmanresU (talk) 02:21, 21 May 2023 (EDT)
