Template talk:Band Header

From This Might Be A Wiki

This would look a lot better on the bottom of the pages.

Agreed. ~ magbatz
It was on the bottom for about a day, but I couldn't stand it. I think navigations like this should be on top, so it stays in the same place as you move from page to page, and is easily noticeable. Also, when that guy said it would look better on the bottom, the template looked very different and wasn't very nice on top...but now I think it is. Dunno, I could be wrong. -CapitalQtalk ♪ 20:31, 25 Apr 2006 (CDT)
I don't know. It's just that most of the other navigation stubs (well, lyrics, and also all the former-president/current/successor type things on Wikipedia) are at the bottom. But I do have to say, after going in and previewing the pages with the stub at the bottom, it looks awkward. ~ magbatz

so i was thinking about this template, and has always seemed a bit messy to me... the lopsidedness, i would consider the johns to be the band, not members, and so i came up with this idea for a more simple and elegant box, more wikipedian:

They Might Be Giants
John Flansburgh · John Linnell
Marty Beller · Dan Miller · Danny Weinkauf

(i'm sure someone can write it so it's less awkward than it is with the <center> tags)... but i thought i'd put it out there to see what people thought. --ant 04:46, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
