A little gem

By far the best song released thus far from the new album. Built on a killer riff, which is either played on guitar with an effect or a keyboard, at a guess I would think it is the former. Flans, delivers a wonderfully laid back vocal performance with chilled out lyrics. Super Cool? Yep he ticks the box. Special shout out for the bass and wonderfully inventive varied percussion, love the horse clopping effects, which shouldn't work but does, spectacularly. Flans expertly wrings out maximum effect from the riff, without overdoing it. There's no real middle eight as such, and Flans decides to leave us wanting more by getting out at 2.11. Not quite sure whose doing the backing vocals - it doesn't sound like either Linnell or Flans, but it must be one of them? Anyway whoever it is, they're doing a grand job. A little gem of a song. I love it. File under essential. (Mr Tuck)

Yeah, isn't it a freakin' SICK song??? It's Linnell doing the backing vocals - 100%. And I'd say the riff is probably a mixture of the two things you suggested. --Propman (talk) 15:30, 21 September 2021 (EDT)
