People are happy! And thus, Dial-A-Wiki (at (505) TMBW-505) is born. The unfortunate limitation with its current form is a 60-second length limit on the recordings, but perhaps this is for the better in order to uphold the legal principle of fair use, since the end result comes out as a low-quality (and time-limited) sample.
By the way, YES, you can leave voicemail messages. And I'll try to update the song daily for as long as I can. Keep calling, and if this starts getting a lot of feedback, I guess I'll spread it beyond this talk page. Tell your friends, I suppose! I haven't made any effort past this page yet to spread the word about the service, so if they do find out, it's going to take a while for it to reach them.
Anyway, I received some great voicemail messages today from fans! Perhaps I'll eventually post some of the voicemail recordings up for posterity (after asking permission from the original callers, of course).

Thanks for making this! I became a fan too late to experience the real DAS so this makes me incredibly awesome. You can find some cool stuff at Free Tunes and all the Frank O'Toole stuff can be downloaded because it, unlike Mrs. Roosevelt, was on the radio (I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry) so there's a link to that on the show page, in case you don't have it already. NEW & IMPROVED[edit]

Commercial[edit]

Seriously? Studio, commercial recordings? One or two probably won't detract from band sales, but five have been aired. TMBW was asked to take down the Free MP3 section a while ago, which had non-commercial mp3s. All of these commercial songs are under a minute, so they can be easily ripped with an audio program such as Audacity now that you can call using Gmail. Sorry, folks, for not saying anything official on the matter. When the fall semester began, it became a bit tedious trying to maintain DAW and balance school, because of how difficult it was to get an okay-sounding recording onto the service (often taking way too much time for a single song). Is DAW coming back this spring break?

CALLED IN DECEMBER, 2014 AND HEARD "EVERYTHING RIGHT IS WRONG AGAIN"[edit]

I called this number tonight and heard one of the demos of "Everything Right is Wrong Again", and I wanted to know if I just heard some leftovers from when the service was up in 2010 or if it's starting back up again. I'd really love to get some insight into this!

I simply wanted to ask because earlier this year, I called it and only heard the "System Standard" voice message, so I was taken aback when I re-dialed and heard an actual song
