Talk:Brian Dewan

From This Might Be A Wiki

Shirts[edit]

Okay, how many shirts has Brian actually made? I seem to recall him doing more than one, but I could be wrong. -- Jolene, March 2, 2003

Interview[edit]

Anyone have a transcript of the Linnell-Dewan interview? And what exactly is a zither, he asked knowing embarrassment was to come? -- Stiddy May 25, 2004

Responses[edit]

I posted some of his t-shirt art on Brian Dewan's bio page, but I could only find the one shirt. There's a shirt with the Lincoln cover on it, which he set up, so maybe that counts. I also put up a picture of Brian playing the zither, so maybe that answer's Stiddy's question. Here's a definition from classicalandjazz.co.uk:

"A stringed instrument constructed of a flat sound box with its 30-40 strings stretched over it horizontally. It is played with a plectrum or plucked. It can refer to any number of string instruments of similar construction and design."

Alright, NOW I understand it. Thanks, I just needed a picture to visualize it. - Stiddy

Voice[edit]

Is it just me, or does Brian Dewan have the quintessential technical-documentary voice? ~ magbatz 03:55, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

Linnell and Dewan[edit]

Linnell has such a huge boycrush on Dewan. ADORABLE. (See: the FX thing.) I've also heard he gets really really visibly excited in the audience at his shows. Linnell/Dewan slash would so be doable. Also, is it worth noting that he wore a Brian Dewan shirt (as in, a shirt promoting him, not a shirt he made) on their first Conan appearance? --Self Called Nowhere 17:43, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

Keyboard stand[edit]

It seems as though the keyboard stand Mr. Dewan built may have been destroyed in the recent equipment-trailer fire. (The lack of it's presence in recent videos suggests it's demise.) Should the article be edited to reflect it's absence or should it be confirmed that it was destroyed first? --Propman 07:03, 30 November 2011 (EST)

It wasn't destroyed (thank goodness). They had it in DC. It just wasn't at Mohegan because the truck with all their equipment broke down on the way there. --BlueCanary 21:14, 30 November 2011 (EST)
