  • This was the sold-out show that we bought tickets to first, so naturally it was going to be more crowded at the Forum, but it didn't stop the show from being just as exciting and engaging as the night before! Banter-wise, Flansburgh said a completely satirical statement during the show about Trump, joking that they should give "that guy" another chance, which ended up distracting him for the next set of songs as he had to ensure the crowd would not take it out of context. I was ecstatic when they played "Can't Keep Johnny Down", as it was always one of my favourites from them, and the inclusion of "Shoehorn With Teeth" and "The Famous Polka" were also great surprises along the way! They performed "Museum Of Idiots" again too, after they had soundchecked it the night before.
  • My most cherished memories from this show would definitely be the interactions I had with the crowd and members of the band. A girl in the crowd had come to the show with her friends holding a Homestar Runner puppet, which had just caught my eye right before all hell broke loose during "Doctor Worm". I came up to her after the show to tell her about it, and she and her friends were very happy that I noticed! Mark Pender of the Tricerachops Horns was also incredibly friendly and recognised us after the show before we could fully recognize him! We also caught John Linnell alongside Danny Weinkauf and Dan Levine after the show too, who said it was nice to meet us and shook our hands, which was an awesome TMBG fan moment. Shoutout to TMBW user I've Got A Fang too, whom I had the pleasure of chanting those song lyrics with.

  • The band weren't quite on the same page with the opening song Damn Good Times so it wasn't coming out right with Flansy proclaiming "Stop, stop the music" after only a few seconds. When everyone had stopped playing he explained that they were only discussing how to open the show at the same time they had to start the show so didn't really have enough time. They then kicked right back into Damn Good Times correctly. I think it made for a better more memorable opening than if it had gone smoothly.
