After the first song, Flans and Linnell very optimistically said that it was a surefire indicator that the show was going to be almost perfect.

Naturally, the accordion broke almost immediately.

So they nixed “Darlings” in the fourth song slot and proceeded with the setlist as written, with Linnell playing “Museum Of Idiots” on keyboard. The accordion returned during intermission and made it through the rest of the show unscathed, and the band ended up playing “Darlings” as their first encore song in lieu of the planned “New York City.”
