- The first time I saw these guys. It was just John & John, backed by three metronomes on pedestals. They only used two of them. One was for "Where Your Eyes Don't Go" and I can't remember the other one. I'm sure they played "Ana Ng" but that's all of the set list I remember.
- I believe that for their first set, they played their first album straight through. (That may have been the second time I saw them) I remember John F. saying, after the end of "Rhythm Section Want Ad,"
- "That completes our first album. I'm sorry if no one told you that our show was going to be 45 minutes long, and kind of a gyp."
- Then they did a second 45 minute set.
