They Might Be Giants
— with Washboard Jungle, Brian Woodbury, Drink Me opening —
Knitting Factory in New York, NY
August 4, 1991 at 9:00 PM
Fan Recaps and Comments:
The only known They Might Be Giants show of 1991. Titled “The Song Remains Inane”, this was a Led Zeppelin tribute show, with each act covering different Led Zeppelin songs.
Also performing was an ensemble composed of John Linnell (saxophone), Kurt Hoffman, and possibly J. Otto Seibold (drums). [1] [2]
Brian Woodbury's set featured Jonathan Feinberg, future drummer for They Might Be Giants, on percussion. Feinberg was first introduced to Linnell at this show.
Tickets were $10.
