Brian Woodbury

Brian Woodbury is a composer, lyricist and bandleader currently based in Los Angeles. He is the husband of Elma Mayer, a musician whose vocals appeared on Apollo 18.
Woodbury's ensemble group The Variety Orchestra included TMBG collaborators Mark Feldman, Kurt Hoffman, and Jonathan Feinberg in its lineup.[1] Feinberg, who would become TMBG's first live drummer, was introduced to the band through Woodbury when the two acts shared a bill in 1991. Brian Dewan sang on several of Woodbury's songs.[2]
In 1990, John Linnell claimed to have a pet fish named after Brian.[3] The 1992 album Brian Woodbury And His Popular Music Group features John Linnell on accordion on the track "They Told You So".
