Interpretations:We Just Go Nuts At Christmastime

From This Might Be A Wiki

Interpretation 1[edit]

This is clearly a play on the "heartfelt Christmas song", taking the images of happy families opening presents by the hearth to an image of divorce and literally referring to Yuletide as "hell"! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.61.37.65 (talkcontribs) 17:28, October 25, 2004

Interpretation 2[edit]

The title of this song is a play on the Christmas novelty tune "I Yust Go Nuts at Christmas" by Yogi Yorgesson. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.159.116.118 (talkcontribs) 21:57, April 16, 2005

Interpretation 3[edit]

Just really listened to this, since I haven't really despite having it for almost a year now. And holy crap, awesome. It sounds just like all the classic Christmas songs, and the bad recording quality actually really helps that image. A dollar for the Johns! --J2 17:49, October 22, 2006

Perhaps the "bad recording quality" could be interpreted to reflect the crappy mood of the singer relaying the terrifying tale. --MisterMe 16:36, 16 November 2012 (EST)
