- This was the first song from Nanobots to be publicly released. It was made available via SoundCloud[1], announced by Rolling Stone on December 12, 2012.
- In an interview[2] with The Weekly Feed, John Linnell described this as an "Oedipus Pan" song because of the narrator's childishness and maternal obsession.
- "Rolling a hoop" refers to the game of hoop rolling, often played by children through history. However, it was also considered a skilled sport and used as a targeting exercise in Ancient Greece and Rome.
- The sailor suit was originally designed for seafaring men in the 1850s, but later became a popular fashion style for children.
