I am pretty sure ["About Me"] was recorded at Excello after [the Why Does The Sun Shine? (EP)], with the horns that we brought in during the demos for John Henry—but then it seemed too "slight" for the final album (there was a "make the band serious" thing going on at the time). But my memory is not air tight...
- This track includes about two and a half minutes of silence after the music is over, to "bury" the hidden Planet of the Apes tracks which follow it.
- This is one of three studio recordings on Severe Tire Damage, the other two being "Doctor Worm" and "Severe Tire Damage Theme".
