The album cover and tracklist for upcoming album The World Is To Dig have been posted to tmbgshop.com. The cover features a period reproduction of the painting A View of Yosemite Valley, originally by Mary Park Seavey Benton, circa 1855, as well as a small illustration by collaborator Tony Millionaire.

News about the upcoming album The World Is To Dig has been posted in Stereogum, Parade and Consequence of Sound, which includes a quote about John Linnell's inspiration in writing "Wu-Tang," and briefly featured the album's full tracklist.

February 9, 2026

The World Is To Dig, the upcoming album by They Might Be Giants, has been announced to release on April 14. Pre-orders for the album are available at the TMBG Shop in multiple formats, with a new shirt. Additionally, the first preview track off the album, "Wu-Tang," is available as a free download at the TMBG Shop.

January 15, 2026

The first new EP by They Might Be Giants in over four years, Eyeball, is now available on streaming and the TMBG Shop! It features four tracks that will not be on the band's next album.

January 5, 2026

They Might Be Giants have announced that an upcoming four-song EP, Eyeball, will be released digitally on January 15, 2026, ahead of their next album which is due in early spring. The band has also announced that tour dates will be posted soon for multi-night stands in seven cities in late spring: Woodstock, Indianapolis, Detroit, Chicago, Philadelphia, Brooklyn and Boston.

2013 – With a show in Portland, ME, TMBG kicks off their Nanobots tour. It includes stops across the United States and Canada, as well as some European and Australian shows — their first tour in over a decade to include that country.
